These tips are all inspired by my latest “10 Eid Outfit Ideas” Youtube video.
I hope you’re all having a blessed Ramadan and time of month! With Eid coming up soon, I know it can be difficult figuring out what to wear with this unpredictable weather and course of events. Thankfully, the pandemic is easing down and a lot of us are able to celebrate with our loved ones this year.
We typically head to Eid Prayer then host an open-house party in our backyard with all of our friends and family, then spend the remaining time “eid” visiting other family members homes. I typically dress fancy enough for eid and outside of my typical outfits, but with shoes comfortable enough to last a full day of hanging out & house hopping!
Whether you’re going out shopping or remaking items from your own closet, here are some tips on what to wear this eid!
2. Asymmetric shirts
Asymmetric shirts add dimension and sophistication to your look, beyond a typical even top, while also being modest.
3. Monochromatic
This is my easiest tip to look put together. Pair the items in your closet that are the exact same color, and odds are they will look very sophisticated! Be sure to belt the top if it is too long too.
4. Layer with a Vest
This is a great piece for summer layering without getting too overheated. I love pairing vests with funky shirts that you wouldn’t typically think go together.
5. Skirt-Pant Suit
This type of 3 piece suit is very on trend at the moment, and is perfect for modest girls wanting more coverage in the back while still having that professional look.
6. Color blocking
Pair a shirt & pant color that compliment each other. I was inspired by bubble gum tones, so I paired pink, mint & baby blue here. Color blocking can make your outfit appear very
”high-fashion”.
7. Cinched blazer
This piece extenuates your silhouette and makes your outfit appear more classy than an oversized blazer. you can do this with a brooch to your regular fitted blazers.
8. Add a chain belt
This Chanel inspired belt makes any outfit, whether full of print or plain, appear quite glamorous. I love throwing it on my oversized looks.
9. Square Satin Printed Scarf
This scarf style adds a whole element of class to a boring outfit. If you don’t wear hijab, you can still fold one as a luxurious headband or as a neck tie!
10. Rework a white shirt
This shirt came with a wide belt that I pinned at the edge to make this waterfall effect. Try working with existing white shirts and tucking in the lapels, pinning the sides, mismatching the buttons, or other ways to make it appear unique.
